THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM

FOUNDATION STATEMENT:  The gospel of the Kingdom is the good news that there is a better way in the Earth than the world’s way that ensures victory and deliverance in every situation no matter how bad it may be.

I. The demonstrating power of the Kingdom of God (Matthew 24:3-14)

A. The Kingdom of God is a demonstrating Kingdom

1. Witness – Proof or testimony

2. This means that God’s way is going to be demonstrated in such a way that the impossible is going to be accomplished and people are going to see it

B. The Kingdom of God is not in word only, but in power (1 Corinthians 4:20)

1. Power (Dunamis) – power, ability, miracle, extended meaning of a person or a supernatural being who has administrative power, might works, miracles, abundance, mighty deeds, wonderful works, workers of miracles

2. The Kingdom of God is a supernatural system that has supernatural power designed to produce supernatural results

a. The Kingdom of God is going to produce results that cannot naturally be produced, because it’s above natural

i. Isaiah 55:9 – That’s why he can get you a house debt free because His ways are higher than our ways

b. Through the Kingdom of God I am not limited to what is “naturally possible”

i. I have a system, a way of doing things, that enables be to go beyond the realm of natural possibilities and when I engage in that system then I can accomplish what’s “naturally impossible”

II. Witnesses of the Gospel of Kingdom of God

A. We are to be witnesses of the gospel of the Kingdom (Matthew 4:23, 9:35, Mark 1:14)

1. The Gospel of the Kingdom of God – The good news of God’s system or way of doing things

a. We’ve got good news you don’t have to worry, struggle, be in bondage anymore because there is a new way that’s higher than the world’s way and it’s going to get a higher result

b. The message of the Kingdom has to do with the Kingdom of God on the inside of you to provide for you the things that you have need of while you are on this Earth

2. What’s been preached is that Jesus saves, but the Kingdom hasn’t been preached so people haven’t seen it

a. If somebody is going to witness it then it’s going to have to be at work so that you can see it

B. We are supposed to be demonstrating this new way in the Earth

1. We should working God’s system and be so abundantly prosperous that the world has no choice but to run to us and get saved (Deuteronomy 7:14)

a. Psalm 37:19 – Satisfied – To be satisfied, be fulfilled, to be sated (stuffed or bursting), be fulfilled, be filled, have one's fill of (have desire satisfied) to have in excess, be surfeit (surplus, excess oversupply), to enrich

2. We are supposed to be demonstrating the supernatural

a. We’re supposed to be doing things that the world cannot do, We’re supposed to be producing results that they can’t produce, We’re supposed to be above them, not them above of us, We’re not supposed to look like the world

3. We haven’t been witnesses to the good news of God’s system because we haven’t engaged in that system and SEEN  that system work

a. To be a witness to it, you have to have seen it

Most believers haven’t gotten born again, but haven’t engaged in this new way of doing things, consequently believers are out there operating like the world and getting the same results that the world has been getting

C. We’ve heard the good news of Christ and gotten saved and we have been witnesses to that and that’s great.  However, we should be witnesses of this new way of doing things where we can live above the world’s system and live successfully in the Earth. (1 John 5:1-4)

1. If I’m born of God then I’m supposed to overpowering the system of the world and doing things that they can’t do

2. We are supposed to be seeing the results of this new system and be witnesses of that

a. Our message to the world is that there’s a better way that yes, starts with salvation, but doesn’t stop there.  There’s a way to live successfully on the Earth.

b. Our message is not only that Jesus saves, but that Jesus provided a new way of doing things and when we do things that new way, then we can experience days of Heaven on the Earth.

III. The reality of the Kingdom is something that people have not totally understood

A. God’s idea of winning the world was not that you run out there and chase them down; but that you work the Kingdom of God and they’ll be chasing you down. (Matthew 4:23)

1. He not only preached the Kingdom, but now the Kingdom of God is coming without demonstration and with power and it’s doing things that are “naturally impossible” --- Everybody is getting healed

2. Fame – Word of the what the He (The Kingdom of God) was doing got out

3. He’s not out there chasing people.  People are drawing to him and following him.

a. The world wasn’t running to the doctors, they were running to him

B. If we were working the Kingdom of God and getting the results that he Kingdom can produce, we’d win the world  

1. Romans 8:19 – The world is waiting for the sons of God to manifest – The world’s waiting for us to show up

a. Manifestations are the mark of the Sons of God because Sons of God operate like God (Galatians 4:1, John 8:39)

i. Sons of God are men and women who will by the power of God bring deliverance and liberty to mankind

ii. Sons of God understand their nature and operate like God on the Earth

iii. Sons of God don’t tolerate the intimidation of the devil

iv. Sons of God will not tolerate the curse in their lives

v. Sons of God maybe in hellish circumstances, but they know how to get out

vi. Sons of God exercise their dominion over the affairs of their life

vii. Sons of God have it just like they want it according to the will of God

b. Christianity is not a theology, it is a release of the nature of God and the life of God into human vessels

i. Our sonship is affected when we don’t accept our true nature

ii. Are you acting like God and doing what God would do if He were here on the Earth

1) When he sees you does he see mere men or does He see himself

c. They’re waiting the supernatural offspring of God to show up and act like God (Mark 4:35-40)

i. Jesus just copied his Father

ii. Somebody’s going to have to show up, work the Kingdom, and act like God (Ephesians 5:2)

iii. I don’t have an inferiority complex.  I know who I am, whose I am, and who I am not.

2. John 10:37 – If I don’t do the works of my Father don’t believe me

a. We’ve been asking the world to believe us, but we haven’t been doing the supernatural works of the Father because we have not been working the Kingdom of God

b. Work the Kingdom, allow God to work through you and the works will speak for themselves

3. Matthew 5:16 – Jesus let your light shine BEFORE MEN

a. Let God work through in such a supernatural way, before men that they would have to acknowledge that that’s God working through a man

b. Your good works – Jesus said it’s the Father dwelling within me he’s doing the works

4. Matthew 12:33-35 – The tree is known by his fruit

C. When you do it God’s way, work the Kingdom, and the results show up the silence of naysayers will begin (John 9:1-41)

1. 3-The works of God manifest

2. 4-Work the works

3. 6-7-That didn’t sound normal

4. 8-11-Watch God get the glory here?

5. 23-Results will confuse some and convince others

a. Satan’s system of religion right here – No results religion

6. 27-Some people won’t receive the truth even when the results show up

7. 30-33-He’s letting the results speak for themselves; Nobody has every done anything like this

D. We have brought people to church

1. That builds the wrong image because you’re not going to church

a. Matthew 16:13 – People have thought that they are coming to church, but the church is people, not a building

i. When that idea gets inside of us the world becomes the enemy and outside the church walls is your enemy

2. It doesn’t make any difference where you are, you got the Kingdom in you and you ought to be taking the Kingdom to the world

a. We’ve have brought people to church to get saved and healed, but not so in the Kingdom, the Kingdom is in you to go out there and you can take the church out there and heal the sick and raise the dead

3. You are supposed to be out in the world, you were placed there on purpose

a. Jesus ate with the tax collectors and the sinners

i. I don’t know who you don’t like, but God loves them

ii. Satan did that to keep you from the world, he doesn’t want you to have that harvest
