THE FOUNDATION TO ALL SUCCESS

FOUNDATION STATEMENT:  Love is the foundation to all success.  Without it you cannot succeed.

I. Love’s function is to empower faith so that faith can then function to connect to the anointing, and the anointing will remove the burden, destroy the yoke, and produce victory in your life

A. The anointing

1. The anointing of God is the power of God that will remove the burdens and destroy the yokes (Isaiah 10:27)

2. The anointing of God is God rubbing His “super” on your “natural” making you supernatural

3. The anointing is what’s necessary for you to live in victory and succeed on this Earth; natural ability is not enough to live the kind of life that God wants you to live

B. The anointing is what keeps you from being overpowered and oppressed by the devil.  (Acts 10:38)

1. Without the anointing operating in your life you will be oppressed.

2. When the anointing is present oppressing can’t stay.

C. Satan is the anti anointing (1 John 4:3)

1. Christ – Anointed One, Messiah, the Greek translation of the Hebrew Word Messiah which means anointed one, refers to pouring or smearing sacred oil on a person in a ceremony of dedication, symbolizing divine empowering to accomplish the task

2. Satan is against the anointing and has to stop it first before he can defeat you

a. The anti-anointing places burdens and yokes

D. Faith is the anointing connector (Romans 1:16, Ephesians 1:19)

1. Matthew 14 – Faith connected Peter to the power of God that enabled him to walk on water

E. Love empowers faith and causes it to work (Galatians 5:6)

1. Love purifies your faith and gets rid of all the things that try to contaminate it

2. Genuine faith is faith that is fully persuaded, with no care, no worry, no anxiety, no doubt, and no fear

a. The only way to get that kind of faith is through a commitment to the commandment of love

F. When Peter violated the commandment of love and got over into fear, is faith stopped working, he was no longer connected to the anointing and he failed (Matthew 14:24)

1. When fear is present we know that Peter was no longer in the love of God (1 John 4:18)

a. He violated the commandment of love by:

i. Not loving God with all of his heart – he didn’t guard his heart

ii. Not loving God with all of his mind – he was attending to the problem

iii. Not loving God with all of his will – he chose to look at the wrong thing

2. He was out of love over into fear, faith couldn’t work to keep him connected to the anointing and when the anointing wasn’t present he failed

II. Satan’s whole purpose is to get you out of love and into fear to stop the anointing because with the anointing operating in your life, he can’t win and you can’t lose

A. If Satan wants to oppress you, he has to get you out of love, into fear, and the anointing

1. Isaiah 54:14 – Fear then becomes the access card that grants Satan access into your life to oppress you

2. Fear works to stop the anointing

a. James 3:14 – Every evil work can be where strife is because where strife is there is no love and no anointing

B. Every temptation you go through is to get you out of the love of God because Satan knows that your power and your anointing is in love and if he can get you out of love then he can defeat you

1. If Satan can get you out of love then the power has been cut off

2. What could be worth giving up the anointing? What's costing you the power to get results?

a. A step out of love is a step into failure because without the anointing you can’t succeed.

C. Love is fail-safe zone – Where there is no fear there can be no failure

1. John 8:59 – The came to oppress Jesus, but he never violated that commandment, never walked in fear, consequently Satan couldn’t touch him

2. 1 John 5:18 – The wicked one can’t come in love because there is no fear in love

3. Psalm 91 – The key issue to the Psalmist success was that he did not fear because he set his love upon the Father

D. Jairus was in the same predicament (Luke 8:50)

1. This is an impossible situation in the natural that is going to require the anointing to be accomplished

a. Natural ability cannot bring a person back to life, so then the anointing is a must

2. Jesus is the anointed one who is carrying the anointing

a. He reveals to Jairus the protocol necessary for the anointing to function to accomplish the task at hand

b. The anointing can only operate on the platform called faith working by love

III. The Commandment of love is the foundation to all success (1 Corinthians 13:8)

A. Love is the foundation to that whole process because if you take that out of the equation you can’t walk in the anointing

1. No love = No anointing

B. Love never fails, consequently every failure in life has it’s roots in the violation of the commandment of love

1. Failure begins because you violated the commandment of love, faith can’t work, you can’t connect to the anointing and without the anointing you can’t win

a. The key to success in any endeavor in life is to stay in the love of God

b. Failure only takes place outside of love

C. Man outside of love is a failure – Man without God is a failure.  He will be average, he will be mediocre, he will be religious, because outside of love he’s outside of his power.  You can’t have success without Love anymore than you can have success without God.
