RELEASING THE LAW OF LOVE

FOUNDATION STATEMENT: When the law of love is released in the life of a believer abundance will always be the result

I. The commandment of love  is the law of abundance that will manifest Heaven on the Earth

A. A law is something that will produce the same results every time all the time no matter what as long as the principles of that law are applied

1. A law is something that has a predictable outcome

a. If a person abides by certain principles there is a predetermined outcome

b. It’s been determined before you walk in love that when you do abundance is the result

2. You're not going to apply the principles of a law and get inconsistent results

a. EX: The Law Gravity - If you drop something it won't float one time and fall the other

3. The only prerequisite for a law to work is that the principles must be applied

B. The 6 principles that release the law of love (Matthew 22:36-40)

1. Guard you heart (Proverbs 4:20)

a. Word are seeds, the ground is your heart (Mark 4:14)

b. Whatever deposit of word seeds you make in your heart will be brought forth in your life (Matthew 12:35)

c. Your life is coming out of your heart (Proverbs 4:23)

2. Cast down imaginations (2 Corinthians 10:5)

a. Proverbs 23:7 – Your life is going in the direction of your thinking, but your thinking is going in the direction of the words that you’re allowing to build your thought patterns

b. Romans 12:1 – Transformation and conformation happen in your thinking.  If you think wrong, you’ll be wrong. 

c. Philippians 4:8 – Fix your mind on the Word – That’s how you think

3. Minister love to the Father with every decision you make (John 8:29)

a. Matthew 26:39 – Not as I will, but as you

b. Joshua 1:8 – You make your way prosperous by choosing the prosperous way

c. Your decisions will determine your destination

4. Don’t allow your emotions to have you, you have them (Ephesians 4:26)

a. Don’t allow the emotion of anger move you out of love

b. Mark 10:22 – The rich young ruler allowed the emotion of sadness to move him away from the law of love

5. Make all of your time, money, resources available to God

a. Luke 14:26 – Forsaking all is loving God with all of your strength

6. Love your neighbor the way God loves you (John 13:34)

C. When you’ve applied those 6 principles, you’ve just released a law that will produce abundance

1. The law of love will do the work and produce abundance your job is to release the law

2. To get outside of one of those principles is to deactivate the law of love, and stop abundance in your life

a. Release love specifically in the areas that you’re desiring abundance in your life

D. If abundance is what you desire then you got to release the law that’s going to produce it (Deuteronomy 11:13)

1. 13-Hear, listen, obey, and proclaim diligently the command of love

2. 16-Pay attention to yourself so that you don’t get to a place where you’re completely ignoring this commandment

3. 17-You’ve been given abundance, but you’re being kept from it because you won’t release the necessary law to receive

4. 18-Lay up, set up, put in, mark well the words of this commandment in your heart and in your mind

5. 23-When you walk in love zoe will show up and begin to drive your enemies out and you’ll possess what God has provided

6. 25-The spirit of the curse that has taken and stand in your life, cannot stand it’s ground when the law of love is released

a. Your fear is gone because you’re perfecting love and now fear is upon your enemies

7. 26-28-The curse is as conditional as the blessing – If you don’t obey you get “0” blessing, if you don’t disobey you get “0” curse (John 17:15, 1 John 5:18, Psalm 91, Isaiah 5:14-17)

8. 28-If the curse is what you got, you chose it

II. When you get in disobedience to the commandment of love there is a resistance to the abundant life that comes out of you

A. Violation of the Love Commandment in your life puts you out of line with the law of abundance and resists it (Mark 10:17)

1. There’s abundance tied to the law of love and if you refuse that law, you resist the abundance that’s tied to it

a. You can’t resist thrust or drag and see lift in your life

2. The rich young ruler got in disobedience to the commandment of love and resisted the very thing that he fell on his knees telling Jesus he wanted

a. HE WENT AWAY – He was in resistance to the thing that he was on his knees begging for, because he was in resistance to the law that would produce it

i. What was tied to this law in verse 21 was verse 29 and 30

ii. When he went away from the law that would produce abundance, he went away from the abundance

B. When you resist the commandment of love, you resist healing and receive sickness, resist prosperity and receive poverty, resist victory and receive defeat (James 3:16, John 12:50)

1. The law of love activates and releases the zoe in your life that produces healing, prosperity, and victory and when you rejected love you rejected and resisted all of these things

a. All manifestations of God’s Word are the result of His power/zoe working and that zoe working is the result of somebody releasing the law of love.  Therefore all manifestations are tied to the command of love and w/o love there is no manifestation. 

b. When you resist that commandment of love and get over into an area of unrepented sin, that death force is working and you are receiving the curse

i. When the rich young ruler chose his money over the law of love, he chose death.

C. If God is love and he is (1 John 4:8,16), and if we are born of love and we are (1 John 5:1), and if we sprung off of God and we did (Acts 17:29), then our recreated spirit is love.  So to walk in violation to the commandment of love and oppose it is to oppose yourself and sow towards your own destruction (2 Timothy 2:25)

1. 26-Recover themselves – You recover yourselves by choosing love and faith

a. Philippians 2:12-13 – Work out your own salvation; God’s done his part just do yours

i. You don’t need God to do anything, He’s done it; you need to get out of strife and into love where the rescue and deliverance is

b. God can’t do anything else for the sinner – Salvation has already been provided

i. God can’t do anything else  for the sick – Healing has already been provided

2. 26-Taken alive – Satan has taken a lot of believers alive because it strengthens his witness

a. 26-Taken alive by him AT HIS WILL – His will is sickness, poverty, depression, fear, defeat and death

D. Choosing the zoe abundant life by choosing the law of love that produces it (Deuteronomy 30:19)

1. When you chose to get involved in the principles of the law of love, you just chose abundance.

III. Love is going to take every spiritual force that God’s given you and cause it to operate on the highest level (Matthew 22:36-40, 1Corinthians 13:11)

A. Love elevates faith (1 John 5:4, Mark 11:23)

B. Love elevates peace (Philippians 4:8, 1 Peter 5:6-8)

C. Love elevates joy (Nehemiah 8:10, John 16:22, 1 Peter 1:8)

D. Love elevates the anointing (Isaiah 10:27)

E. Love elevates the blessing (Proverbs 10:22)
