THE SECRET PLACE OF ABUNDANCE

FOUNDATION STATEMENT: As believers we can get we can get to a place of abundance where we live above the curse and Satan cannot get His hands on us. 

I. Zoe is the light force of God that darkness cannot overtake (John 1:1-5, 1 John 1:1-2)

A. Zoe was manifested unto them in Jesus

1. What they had seen and handled was zoe

B. We have zoe working in our lives and now we are showing it to you

1. History tells that they tried to boil John in oil and couldn’t kill him

2. Eternal life was manifested in the physical realm because it is more than going to Heaven

C. We are telling you about this zoe; how to walk in it and manifest it in your life

D. When you start understanding and experiencing zoe, it’ll fill your joy tank up (John 16:24)

II. GOD IS LIGHT AND IN HIM THERE IS NOT DARKNESS AT ALL

A. God is Light; There is no darkness in him; no sickness, curse, poverty, defeat, depression, lack

1. God is all light and in Him there is zero darkness

a. Absolute zero is where zero heat exists (-273 degrees C, -459 degrees F)

i. No heat energy remains, molecules cannot move, and nothing can live there

2. Ezekiel 1:27

3. Habakkuk 3:4

4. Exodus 33:18 – Moses wanted to see His glory, but it was so powerful that God had to hide him under a cliff to keep from killing him – That goodness destroyed all badness

5. Acts 12:7-10

B. God is Love (1 John 4:8)

C. God is Zoe-Life (John 1:1-5)

D. In God who is Love, who is Light, who is Life, there is abundance, there is Heaven on the Earth, there is the Garden of Eden because in God/Love/Light/Life there is no darkness at all

1. God is good and in Him there is zero bad

E. The law of opposites

1. God and Satan are direct opposites of one another

2. If God is Light, Life, and Love then Satan must be darkness, death, and hate

III. You dwell in God/Life/Light where there is no darkness by walking and dwelling in the Love of God

A. When you don’t keep the commandment of love you walk in darkness (1 John 2:10-11)

1. When you walk in love, you walk in the light, because God is love and He is light

2. When you violate the commandment of love and get over in darkness, that’s where death is and that’s where the curse is

B. When you don’t keep the commandment of love you walk in the force of death (1 John 3:14)

1. That force of  death is not in you because you’re born again, but you’re releasing it in your life by violating the law of  love

C. If you say that you have participation with Him/Light/Life/Love and you walk in darkness (violation to the commandment of love) that’s a lie (1 John 1:6)

1. Fellowship – participation, sharer, companion, partner

2. You can’t walk in hate/strife and participate in this life/light force

D. You know that you have intimate fellowship with God/Light/Life/Love because you keep his commandments (1 John 2:3-6)

1. The person that says that they have intimate fellowship with this Light/Life/God/Love and doesn’t walk in love is a liar

a. You can’t walk in zoe without walking in love

2. When the love of God is being perfected in you that is how you KNOW that you are dwelling in Him/Light/Life/Love/God

E. The person that dwells in love, dwells in God, who is life, who is light (1 John 4:16)

1. If you’re going to say you abide in him, walk in love as he walked (1 John 2:6)

IV. The wicked one touches you not: That’s abundance (Psalm 91)

A. This secret place that the Psalmist is dwelling in is Love.  It’s the light that darkness cannot comprehend, it’s the life that death can’t overtake, it’s God. 

1. If you’re going to dwell in the secret place of light/life/God you have to dwell in love

a. He started the first verse talking about being in love

2. 2-He begins to speak faith-filled words, but he was dwelling in love first

a. He’s fully persuaded– Surely, Shall,/No evil/No plague

i. He believes the love/the light/the life (1 John 4:16) – IN HIM I trust

ii. He knows that darkness can’t come in this light

b. 9-He did this by dwelling in the Love of God and speaking faith filled words

c. 10-There-Where?-In light, In life, In love in God

3. The key issue to the whole Psalm was He stayed out of fear and He set his love upon God

a. If you get out of love and over into fear, you’re out of light/life/God, and over in a place where darkness resides and that death force works to effect every area of your life

4. It’s God’s will that we be far from oppression (Ps 91:7,10, 5, 14, Is 54:14, Eph 1:16-22, 1 John 4:17)

a. The Psalmist set his love upon God and that’s why there was no fear, and because there was no fear he was far from oppression

B. Jesus dwelt in the secret place

1. He never once violated the commandment of love (2 Corinthians 5:21)

a. He dwelled in love, in light, in life, in God

2. Jesus hid himself in the secret place of love/light/life and darkness couldn’t come on him (John 8:59)

a. Death came but couldn’t find Jesus because he was in a secret place

b. John 8:12 – When you follow him you walk in the light of life

3. Jesus was able to walk free from evil because he kept his Father’s commandments and abided in His Father’s love (John 14:9-10)

a. If we will keep his commandments we can abide in his love, the way he abided in his father’s love and walk free from evil the way he did  (John 17:14)

4. That force of death that manifests evil has been abolished  (John 8:51, 11:25-26, 10:10, 2 Timothy 1:10)

C. Keep yourself in love and the wicked can’t touch you (1 John 5:18-20, 11-12, 1-5)

1. Satan’s looking for people who have the love off, the light off, the life off (1 Peter 5:5-9)

a. He’s looking for people who live their lives in violation to the commandment of love because fear his is way in

2. If you do sin you repent and it’s like you never sinned (1 John 1:9)

a. But you got to have the commandment of love on your mind to even catch it

3. 18-Keeps himself – Where? – In love

4. You keep yourself in love and the wicked one touches you not – That’s abundance – This was Jesus’ prayer (John 17:5)
