NOW FAITH IS

Living In The Now Of Faith

FOUNDATION STATEMENT: Faith always talks, thinks, and acts in the present tense.  Faith never says I'm going to be; faith says I already am.  As believers to walk in victory and overcome the world's system, we have to live in the now of faith.

Foundation Scripture: Hebrews 11:1, Mark 11:23

I.        Believing that you receive will take your words, thoughts, and actions into the "now of faith."

A.     If you have believed that you received it, then according to you, you have it and if you have it that's right now

II.      Everything that you need to live and enjoy life in abundance on this Earth has already been given to you by God

A.     God has already done it and He has already provided it.  God has done everything He's going to do where your prosperity, healing, and victory is concerned.

1.      Ephesians 1:3, 2 Peter 1:3, Galatians 3:13

B.     There is no time in God

1.      Exodus 3:14, Hebrews 13:8, 2 Peter 3:8, Isaiah 46:10

C.    He provided for you everything that you would ever need and He did it before the foundation of the world

1.      If He loved you before the foundation of the world, the He provided for you before the foundation of the world because love always manifest itself in giving (John 17:23)

a.      Matthew 6:8 - God knew what you would have need of before you knew

b.      Revelation 13:8 - The system was put into motion like this; whatever man needs to be prosperous and enjoy life I'm providing now even up to the point man sins there is a savior provided.

c.      EXAMPLE: Expecting a baby and loving that baby by providing for it before it's even born.  You know what it has need of before it needs it and because you love it you provide for it then.  That baby isn't even here yet and you are building its room, getting it diapers, and clothes.

III.    You are what the word says you are; you're not going to be, you already are (James 1:20)

A.     The Bible is like a mirror and when you look at that word reflects back to you who you really are

1.      The mirror of this Word reflects back to you, who you are, not who you're going to be

2.      Mirrors to don't reflect back to you what you're going to be in the future, they reflect back to you what you are in the present moment

3.      EXAMPLE: You don't look in the mirror and say one day I'm going to look like that.  Someday that's going to be me.  Somebody day God's going to turn me into that.  What that mirror is reflecting back to you is who you are right now.

B.     The Word is the seed that gave birth to you and you are everything that it is (1 Peter 1:23)

1.      The law of Genesis says every seed produces after it's own kind (Genesis 1:11)

a.      If the word is the seed that gave birth to me, then I am everything that this word is

b.      Is this word healing?  Then I'm healed.  Is this word prosperity?  Then I'm prosperous.  Is this word deliverance?  Then I'm delivered.  Is this word victory?  Then I'm victorious

2.      I'm God's workmanship and when I got born again I was born with it all (Ephesians 2:10)

a.      God doesn't create things sick, broke, poor, depressed, fearful, or stressed out

b.      The same way that I was made the righteousness of God I was made prosperous and healed (2 Corinthians 5:20)

C.    As He is so am I in this world (1 John 4:17)

1.      When I look at the way Jesus is today, then I find out who I am today in this world

2.      How is he? He's healed, prosperous, victorious, delivered, out of debt, and every need, desire, and want of his is met. (Ephesians 1:19)

D.    Satan is a thief because he's coming to take from you what you already got (John 10:10)

1.      If you didn't have it, Satan wouldn't be the thief looking to steal it

a.      You can't steal from a guy who doesn't have anything

i.        You can't steal prosperity from a guy who doesn't have it

2.      If he's the thief wanting to steal from me, then I most have already something

IV.   To walk in the manifestation of God's word you have operate in the now of faith

A.     The now of faith agrees with the word of God

1.      You have to believe the word of God is true for it to come to pass in your life

a.      By faith we have to come out of time and live like God's word is true

b.      EXAMPLE: If God said, "You are healed" and you're saying "I'm going to be" then you don't believe His word and it can't come to pass in your life

B.     Abraham had to operate above time in the now of faith to see the manifestation of God's promise in His life (Romans 4:16, Genesis 17)

1.      Abraham receives the promise

a.      Abram gets the promise that when he is 75 years old (Genesis 12:1-4, 13:14-16)

b.      When he turns 99 God changes his name to Abraham and tells him I HAVE MADE you the Father of many nations (Genesis 17:1-5)

i.        God didn't say I'm going to make you the Father of many nations, He said I have made you the Father of many nations

c.      He had been made the Father of many nations, but he couldn't see it

2.      Abraham isn't the Father of one nation at this point in the natural, but he grabs hold of that by faith and began to operate in the now of faith (Romans 4:16)

a.      Abraham was strong in faith calling those things that be not as though they were

i.        2 Corinthians 4:13 - If you believe you speak

b.      When Abraham operated in the now of faith, what wasn't coming to pass for 24 years came to pass in less than two years time because Abraham operated in the now of faith

3.      Time was telling Abraham and Sarah that they could have a baby because they were too old, but Abraham wasn't subject to time when he operated by faith

V.     Faith doesn't operate in time

A.     If we can get you out of time we can get you into the manifestation of God's word

1.      You've been trapped in time and time has been keeping you from the manifestation of the word of God in your life

2.      Faith will take you above time (out of time) and into the reality of God's word

B.     Faith doesn't talk in time, think in time, or act in time

1.      A person of faith doesn't wait for the manifestation to show up, a person of faith gets in the manifestation and walks it out

2.      Faith never says "God's going to" or "I'm gonna be" - Faith says, "God's already done it and I already got it

C.    A clear sign that you're not in faith is when you talk, think, and act in time

1.      EXAMPLE: When is it going to happen? Why is it taking so long? God's going to do it someday?  I know someday it's going to happen?

a.      All those statements are full of doubt and unbelief because they are statements in time

2.      If God's already done it, then you already got it

a.      It's not when is it going to happen, it's already happened!

D.    Faith will take you out of time and enable you to accomplish something at rate that is not humanly comprehendible

1.      When you live in the now of faith you are no longer under the bondage of time

a.      Natural law says that it can't happen that fast, but I'm not dealing in time I'm dealing in faith

2.      When you are in faith you are above the limitations that time has set

E.     Time is a natural law released into the Earth by God who is Spirit consequently time is physical and it subject to the spiritual

1.      When you operate out of your spirit you're not subject to time, time is subject to you

2.      There's time in heaven; there's eternity no beginning and no end

F.     You're not waiting on the manifestation, the manifestation is waiting on you

1.      Luke 5:1-9 - What Peter couldn't do in 10 hours Jesus did in one drop of the net

2.      1 Samuel 17 - What a whole army of men couldn't do in 40 days and 40 nights David did in less than five minutes because faith took him out of time and above time

3.      Mark 5 - The woman with the issue of blood tried everything that she knew to do for 12 years, but when she operated in faith what couldn't happen in 12 years happened in less than 12 days

VI.   If you're going to operate in the now of faith and see the manifestation of God's Word then His word has to go from words on a page to truth in your heart (John 8:31-32)

A.     Defining Truth (John 17:17)

1.      The word of God is reality.  The Word is what's real.

a.      The spiritual reality is more real than the physical reality, because a Spirit gave birth to everything that is physical and the creation never becomes more real than the creator.

b.      If the word of God is truth then anything that says something that is in opposition to that word is a lie

2.      EXAMPLE: If you're body is saying it's sick and God's Word says you're healed then your body is lying.  If you're checkbook is saying you're poor, but God's word says you're rich that that checkbook is lying.

3.      Romans 3:3-4 - Let God be true and every man and every physical circumstance be a liar

a.      Abraham let God be true and his circumstances and body a liar (Romans 4:19-20)

B.     Truth is what will set you free from the facts of life (John 8:31-32)

1.      Facts of life

a.      The natural report that you're getting is a fact, but the word of God is truth and truth will change the facts

2.      The word of God will not set you free until it becomes truth in your life

a.      When you're willing to stand on this word and confess the word and believe this word they way you believe your name is what it is then this word will set you free and come to pass in your life

3.      It's the act of continuing that transforms this word, from word to truth in your life

a.      When this word is truth you're living in the now of faith and the manifestation of that word in your life is then inevitable

VII. Making the withdraw

A.     These things have been given to you, but there in the unseen realm and the only way to make the withdraw is to live in the now of faith
